You can have someone of legal age pick up your order for you. If this person lives at the same address as you, he or she must also bring a proof of address. If this person doesn’t live at the same address, you must sign the Canada Post notice of delivery and print the name of the person you have sent to pick up the item on your behalf.

Risk mitigation measures in store

We have created a working group specifically dedicated to the coronavirus that closely follows the recommendations of the public health authorities and works closely with our stores.

We ask clients to respect the recommended hygiene and physical distancing measures in place. These are crucial. In addition, we strongly recommend that customers give preference to online ordering.

Reduced capacity in stores

In order to comply with the new measures issued by the Gouvernement du Québec restricting the number of people admitted to commercial establishments, the number of authorized customers into SQDC stores has been reduced. Between 4 and 7 customers are allowed in each store at a time, depending on its size. This measure aims to reduce the risk of COVID-19 contamination for our employees and customers. We encourage customers to make online purchases. We want to thank our customers in advance for their collaboration.

Mandatory face cover

Wearing a face cover is now mandatory in all closed public places in Québec, which includes SQDC stores. People who do not wear a face cover will be refused access to our stores.

In-store hygiene measures

  • Traffic control at the entrance (maximum number of customers at a time)
  • Entrance survey for each customer
  • Face coverings are mandatory inside our stores
  • Social distancing, including when queuing
  • Increased cleaning of stores, especially doors, payment terminals and counters
  • Reduced product handling between employees and customers
  • Visual verification of identification documents only
  • Distribution of antiviral products to employees, such as hand sanitizers
  • Frequent reminders to all employees of the need to adopt the necessary hygiene measures to prevent the spread and transmission of the virus (such as frequent hand-washing)
  • Installation of Plexiglas panels in front of all registers
